Do you take your car for regular mechanical servicing? The answer is mostly YES because you know that regular servicing protects your investment in your car. So why not treat your air conditioning system in the same way? Mechanical servicing won’t include the air conditioning system but regular servicing will improve the efficiency of your air conditioning and reduce the long term maintenance costs. Air conditioners don’t ‘run out of gas’ the way the fuel tank runs out of fuel. The air conditioning is a closed system—gas is only lost if there is a problem with the system. The longer an air conditioner is without gas, the more expensive it can be to repair. An air conditioning system service before summer means you’ll be ready to face the heat.
